    Add a notification

    How to add, request or accept a My cloud software services notification in RAM.

    How to add a notification

    To add a notification:

    1. Log in to RAMExternal Link
    2. Select View or manage authorisations, machine credentials and cloud software notifications.
    3. Select the business you want to add the notification for.
    4. Select Manage notifications.
    5. Select the business you are sending the notification for then Add notification.
    6. Select the digital service provider – you can search by your digital service providers name or Australian business number (ABN).
    7. Enter the

      - unique software ID (10-digital number) provided by your digital service provider – select Add another if more than one software ID is supplied

      - start date – this can't be back dated

      - end date – this field defaults to 'No end date', you can include an end date if required.
    8. Select the agency you wish to access (currently only available for Office of the Student Identifiers Registrar).
    9. Check the details are correct, accept the declaration and select Submit.

    Request a notification – Digital service providers only

    To request a notification for a user:

    1. Log in to RAMExternal Link
    2. Select View or manage authorisations, machine credentials and cloud software notifications.
    3. Select the business you want to request the notification for.
    4. Select Manage notifications then My Clients.
    5. Select Request notification.
    6. Enter the ABN of the user and click the Search icon - details of the client will display.
    7. Select Continue and enter the

      - software ID

      - start date – this can’t be back dated

      - end date – this field defaults to ‘No end date’, you can include an end date if required

      - select Continue.
    8. Select the agency you wish to notify (currently only available for Office of the Student Identifiers Registrar).
    9. Select Continue.

    A confirmation message will display advising that you have successfully requested a notification. The requested notification will appear as pending until it is accepted by the user.

    Accept a notification

    To accept a notification requested by your digital service provider:

    1. Log in to RAMExternal Link
    2. Select View or manage authorisations, machine credentials and cloud software notifications.
    3. Select the business you want to accept the notification for.
    4. Select Manage notifications.
    5. Select the business with the pending notification.
    6. Locate the notification with the ‘Pending’ status and select Edit.
    7. Check the following details are correct (these will be pre-filled)

      - name of the digital service provider

      - software ID – select Add another if more than one software ID is supplied

      - start and end dates

      - agency to notify (currently only available for Office of the Student Identifiers Registrar).

    8. Accept the declaration and select Submit.
